Rwandan Ambassador Charles Kayonga visits OMU Rector Fatma Aydın

Charles Kayonga, Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to Ankara, who was in Samsun for a series of visits, paid a courtesy visit to Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın in her office.

The visit was also attended by Embassy Trade Attaché Lucas Murenzi, Samsun Teknopark General Manager Levent Tanrıverdi, SOEL Group owner Rıza Ergin, and TEMSA Black Sea Region Public Sales Manager Erol Mertan.

During the meeting, participants exchanged views on international inter-university collaborations, academic exchange programs, and opportunities for joint work intechnology and industry. In particular, possible projects and educational collaborations that could be developed with African countries in the field of higher education were discussed.

Rector Aydın thanked the guests for their kind visit and provided information about the academic and scientific activities carried out by OMU in line with its internationalization vision. Ambassador Kayonga emphasized that inter-university collaborations make significant contributions to the development of relations between countries.

The visit concluded with mutual expressions of goodwill and a commemorative photograph session.
