Demet Akalın brings Spring Festival excitement to its peak at OMU

Dance performances, DJ shows, and various stage activities held throughout the day as part of the Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Spring Festival culminated in great excitement with a concert by singer Demet Akalın.

Students showed strong interest in the concert held at the OMU Life Center, while the festival area was filled with colorful scenes during the evening hours.

Performing her popular songs together with the students, Demet Akalın gave participants an unforgettable night with her stage performance. Throughout the concert, students enjoyed the music, and the energy of the spring festival was felt across the campus.

In addition to OMU students, university staff and alumni also attended the concert, which became one of the most highly attended events of the Spring Festival. Thousands of students gathered in front of the stage and sang along to the artist’s songs throughout the concert.

At the end of the concert, Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın presented flowers and a Samsunspor jersey to Demet Akalın in appreciation of her performance. The program concluded with commemorative photographs taken by students to mark the occasion.
