Food Scholarship

At the beginning of each academic year, by considering practices in past years, the needs observed and budget facilities with the performances obtained, successful and low-income students are given a scholarship upon the recommendation of Health, Culture and Sports Department and determined by the University Board. Designated scholarship quota is allocated to the academic units considering the number of students. Food scholarship applications are made to the academic unit where each students registered.

The evaluation of application of the students determined by the “Food Scholarship Assessment Commission” which will be created by units will be submitted to the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, according to the priority needs to be established by determining the order of priority according to an official report to be delivered by aligning. Lists are consolidated and published by the website.

Food scholarship eligible students, throughout the academic year, benefits from dining halls affiliated to Culture and Sports Affairs Directorate free of charge as one meal a day for the week.
