Ondokuz Mayıs University Entrance Examination for International Students (OMU-YÖS 2021) will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at 13.00 (GMT+3) with the cooperation of Distance Education Centre (UZEM) and International Relations Office.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the promotional and informational meetings for the "OMÜ YÖS" exam, which is planned to be held in 40 countries and 70 centers this year, are continued to be held online at the international exam centers.

With the support of Turkish Maarif Foundation, OMU-YÖS 2021 promotional meetings were held online with the participation of Kabul Girls High School, Kandahar Girls High School, The International School of Kabul, Kabul Boys High School, Jalalabad Boys High School, Kandahar Boys High School, the graduates of the International School of Kabul, Herat Boys High School, Mazar-e Sharif Boys High School, Sheberghan Boys High School, Mazar-e Sharif Girls High School, Herat Girls High School, Akça Habibe Kadiri Girls High School, Sheberghan Girls High School, Darul Ulum High School for the exam center in Afghanistan and with CSP Maarif, Ecoles de l'amitié nigero-Turque, Franco Arabic and Mevlana College for the exam center in Niger-Niamey.

The online meetings were held with the participation of the Head of the International Relations Office Assoc. Prof. Mustafa Said KURŞUNOĞLU, the Head of Distance Education Center (UZEM) Asst. Prof. Hasan ATSIZ, Prof. Dr. Rıfat GÜNDAY, Instructor Tolga ARSLAN, Asst. Prof. Mehmet TÜTÜNCÜ, the Assistant Manager of TÖMER Instructor Yahya KURT, Assoc. Prof. Recep DEMİR, Instructor  Khaled Khalifa Abdelazim Khallaf and other academic and administrative staff. During the meeting, the candidates who will take OMU-YÖS Exam were provided with all the important information related to Samsun, accommodation and scholarship opportunities at OMU, and registration and quotas in English, Persian, Arabic and French. OMU students and international graduate students also attended the meeting. Students of nearly 20 different schools abroad had the opportunity to get detailed and up-to-date information about Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) through the online meetings.

The candidates who are going to take OMU-YÖS Exam can make their application and payments through yos.omu.edu.tr between January 25 and April 16, 2021.
