The Turkish Historical Society 100th Anniversary Library, which was opened at the Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Central Library earlier this year, continues to attract significant interest from students and researchers.

The special collection, consisting of approximately 1,600 publications donated to the University by the Turkish Historical Society in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye, brings together valuable resources in the fields of history, culture, civilization, and social sciences.

Interest in the collection has become particularly noticeable during the final examination period, as the Central Library experiences an increase in visitor numbers. Students make use of the publications for coursework and research assignments, while graduate students and academics benefit from access to a wide range of scholarly resources that support their research activities.

The collection, established within the Central Library, is available not only to members of Ondokuz Mayıs University but also to all researchers and members of the public who are entitled to use the library's services.

The Turkish Historical Society 100th Anniversary Library continues to serve users through its dedicated space within the Central Library.
