The 8th of the Traditional Interclass Football Tournament organized by the OMU Student Council Has Ended.
Secretary General Assist. Prof. Dr. Selahattin Özyurt, Atakum District Director of Youth and Sports Mustafa Demirkıran, Head of the OMU Student Council Ali Saral Sarıalioğlu, students and invitees attended the final game of the tournament which hosted 61 teams.
Environmental Engineering Department competed with the Chemical Engineering Department in the final game which witnessed excitement and rivalry. The Environmental Engineering Department won the tournament with one single goal scored. The Chemical Engineering Department ranked 2nd and the Geography Department 3rd in the tournament.
Secretary General Assist. Prof. Dr. Selahattin Özyurt presented their medals and cups to the students of Environmental Engineering Department for winning the tournament; Atakum District Director of Youth and Sports Mustafa Demirkıran to the 2nd; Head of the OMU Student Council Ali Saral Sarıalioğlu to the 3rd. The winner received 2.000 TL, the 2nd 1000 TL and 3rd 500 TL as prize money from the OMU Student Council.
