“Traditional French Teaching Yearend Celebration” organized by Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Faculty of Education’s French Language Teacher Education Programme entertained the guests with colourful and memorable moments.

Head of the Department of French Language Teacher Education Programme Prof. Dr. Hanife Nalan Genç, department members, research assistants, students, and numerous guests have attended the event organized at the Faculty of Fine Arts Campus’ OMU Stage.

Final year students of French Language Teacher Education Programme exhibited their talents with various activities such as solo and duet musical performances including the works of popular French singers Indila and Zaz, poem performances, and dance shows. Students’ performances were highly acclaimed and the audience enjoyed a memorable event.

“I greatly appreciate my students who contributed to the organization of this event, and thank them with all my heart. This event would not happen without their efforts. I wish a pleasant and entertaining program” said Head of Department Dr. Genç in her opening speech for the event.

Department students also expressed their gratitude to the Dean’s Office, administrative staff, Department teachers, and research assistants for encouraging them to plan, prepare, and realize this event.
