Ondokuz Mayıs University Bicycle Team participated in Inter-university Mountain Bike Competition held at İzmir Ege University last week, and they won a cup and a medal.
In the competition in which both male and female participants competed against each other, OMU won 2nd cup in the competition among women teams, and Havva Melek Akbulut received 3rd medal in individual category.
Men team receiving 1st cup last year could not rank among the winners this year because of technical problems.
The team continuing to do this sport in spite of numerous impossibilities remarked that they would continue to make efforts, and they stated that they were in need of support.
