TÜSEB Grants 2.5 Million TL for a Project by OMU Academics

A project proposal submitted by academics from Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) has been approved for funding by the Turkish Health Institutes Presidency (TÜSEB). The project, aimed at supporting research and development (R&D) initiatives, has been deemed suitable for support under TÜSEB's call for proposals program.

The project titled 'Design and Manufacturing of a Myoelectric Controlled Upper Limb Prosthesis Prototype' by OMU academics has successfully met the scientific evaluation criteria, securing a budget of 2.5 million Turkish Lira. This initiative represents a significant advancement in the field of prosthetic technology.

Dr. İlyas Eminoğlu, a faculty member from the Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department of the Engineering Faculty at OMU, leads the project. The team includes Prof. Dr. Temel Kayıkçıoğlu, also from the Engineering Faculty, Lecturer Sema Gül from the Faculty of Health Sciences, Research Assistant Dr. Mehmet Serdar Çelik, Research Assistant Burcu Keskin from the Engineering Faculty, along with Dr. Eiad Saif and Osman Bilgin.
