Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) ranked 469th internationally, with a 50-step jump from the previous year, in the "2022 UI GreenMetric World Universities Ranking", where academic campuses are evaluated in terms of sustainability criteria.
OMU, which carries out activities to be a green and environmentally friendly campus and increases its motivation daily, has achieved significant success by climbing from 519th to 469th in the "UI GreenMetric World Universities Ranking," where a total of 1050 universities are evaluated this year.
Ranking 41st in the 'national ranking' in GreenMetric 2022 means that OMU managed to maintain its rank despite the number of national applicants rising to 83 from 71.
The UI GreenMetric World University Ranking is a ranking on green campus and environmental sustainability initiated by Universitas Indonesia in 2010. Through 39 indicators in 6 criteria, UI GreenMetric World University Rankings prudently determined the rankings by universities' environmental commitment and initiatives.
