Members of various student associations of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) have touched the hearts of many with the event entitled “Little Dreams of Big Hearts” which they organized to raise the morale and motivation of the patients of the OMU Faculty of Medicine’s Children’s Hospital.
In the event coordinated by Faculty Member of Veterinary Science Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gökhan İnat, and organized in cooperation of the European Medical Students’ Association (EMSA), Faculty of Veterinary Science Student Association (VFÖT), International Veterinary Students’ Association (IVSA), and Wildlife and Exotic Association (YET), students made child patients who stay in Pediatric General Services, and Pediatric Hematology and Oncology Units happy with the gifts they made for them.
Before the event, the students have received letters from the children regarding their wishes and they prepared gifts for each child in regard to these letters.
The gifts are presented to the children by carefully following the pandemic rules.
