A handover ceremony was held for the position of Head of the International Relations Office at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU).

OMU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Alper Kesten, and Rector's Advisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Begüm Korunur Engiz attended the ceremony.

Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said Kurşunoğlu, who handed over the position, expressed his satisfaction with the international collaborations and projects carried out during his term and wished success to the new head. Dr. Ahmet Aycan, who took over the role, stated that he will work to contribute to OMU’s vision for internationalization.

Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın said, “I thank Prof. Dr. Mustafa Said Kurşunoğlu for his valuable contributions to our university’s international efforts, and I wish Dr. Ahmet Aycan success in his new role.”

The ceremony concluded with mutual congratulations and a commemorative photo session.
