OMU Foundation College students celebrate Republic Day with campus march

Students of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Foundation College celebrated the 103rd anniversary of the Republic of Türkiye with a Republic Day march held on the Kurupelit Campus.

Carrying Turkish flags and posters of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the students marched across the campus while singing patriotic songs and sharing in the pride and joy of October 29 Republic Day.

The event was organized to help preserve the values of the Republic and pass this awareness on to future generations.

OMU Vice-Rectors Prof. Dr. Alper Kesten, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Pınar Sumer, and Prof. Dr. Çetin Kurnaz joined the march, together with academic and administrative staff and parents.

Marking the 103rd anniversary of the Republic, the event highlighted messages of unity and solidarity, while the Turkish flags and songs performed by the students added to the festive atmosphere across the campus.
