Four OMU Teams Advance to the Finals at TEKNOFEST 2026

Four teams from Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) have advanced to the finals of separate competition categories at TEKNOFEST 2026 following successful performances across a range of technology fields.

Developing projects in areas spanning health technologies, aviation, unmanned marine vehicles, and unmanned aerial vehicles, the OMU teams have secured their places among the TEKNOFEST 2026 finalists.

OMU Reaches the Finals in Four Categories

The CEITSSLAB-ONK3T team advanced to the finals of the 3T in Oncology Competition, while VORTEX qualified for the Jet Engine Design Competition.

The 19 TECH team reached the finals of the Unmanned Marine Vehicle Competition, and PARS advanced in the Rotary-Wing Category of the International Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Competition.

The finalist OMU teams are:

  • CEITSSLAB-ONK3T – TEKNOFEST 2026 3T in Oncology Competition
  • VORTEX – TEKNOFEST 2026 Jet Engine Design Competition
  • 19 TECH – TEKNOFEST 2026 Unmanned Marine Vehicle Competition
  • PARS – TEKNOFEST 2026 International Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Competition, Rotary-Wing Category

Rector Aydın Congratulates the Finalist Teams

OMU Rector Prof. Dr. Fatma Aydın congratulated the finalist teams and their academic advisors for their achievements at TEKNOFEST 2026.

“I sincerely congratulate all of our students who have made our University proud through their creativity, determination, and innovative projects, as well as the academic advisors who have guided them,” Rector Aydın said.

“We are delighted by the success they have achieved through their work in science and technology, and I wish all of our teams every success throughout the TEKNOFEST 2026 process.”

OMU continues to support science- and technology-oriented initiatives and encourage its students to participate in national and international technology competitions with innovative projects.
