Self-improvement congress titled “I Have the Control of My Carrier” aimed at students organized under the collaboration of Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) and Bilim İlaç Corp.
The congress which started at OMU Distance Education Center (UZEM) Conference Hall was actively participated by a large number of students from different faculties.
On the first day of the congress, which was held between October 17-20, Human Resources Director Dilek Mete described students ready in the hall their past experiences and important steps they took while designating their carrier. Mete said “In this conference, we will talk about what you should do focusing on your future. We will teach you here how to control your emotions and minds for your carrier. Me and all the trainers after me will show you the clues how to achieve this”. Mentioning in their speech also the thin line between chance and seeing opportunities, Mete continued “One creates their own chance. But, to see opportunities and make the best of them one has to be trained priorly and be well equipped. Don’t forget that chance only chooses ready minds.”
After Dilek Mete, senior executive and team coach Rana Pendar Ulusoy, who received a title from the International Coaching Federation, delivered their speech titled “Psychological Games on the Carrier Road” and Omark Danışmanlık Corp. cofounder Mehmet Özel their speech titled “1001 States of Leadership”.
The trainings continued between October 18-19-20 at the OMU Faculty of Engineering Conference Hall, and throughout the conference, OMU students were informed by tens of different professional managers and carrier planners about carrier creation and awareness raising in carriers”
