French Embassy Education Attaché Initiates Cooperation

Education Attaché of Embassy of France in Ankara Jean-Michel Berthe, who came to Samsun in order to hold official talks, and Director of Courses Department of French Cultural Centre in Ankara Ms. Hülya Öz, accompanied by the Head of Ondokuz Mayıs University School of Foreign Languages Assoc. Prof. Nalan Kızıltan and academicians, have met with the Head of Faculty of Education’s Department of Foreign Languages Prof. Rıfat Günday.

The group then visited Rector Prof. Sait Bilgiç and Vice Rector Prof. Vedat Ceyhan in the Rectorate Building and exchanged ideas on signing a protocol which includes various topics such as internationally recognized Delf-Dalf Diplomas, accessibility of the digital library, sending academicians to France, enriching the course books and training materials, organizing joint workshops, developing joint projects, and organizing joint cultural events. Institutional experiences were also shared during the meeting. Both sides expressed their appreciation of the meeting which was held in a very positive setting.

Education Attaché Berthe, Director Öz, and the accompanying Assoc. Prof. Kızıltan and the academicians then visited the Principal of OMU Foundation College Mustafa Kurt and Vice Principal Halit Cüre.
