The  2015-2016 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences  Was Held.

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Gümüş, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Ebül Muhsin Doğan, academicians, students and their families attended the ceremony held at the football field within the Kurupelit Campus.

The top ranking student of the Faculty Gökşin Vural delivered the opening speech of the ceremony where a total of 360 students graduated from the departments of Business, Finance, Political Science and Public Administration. Graduating from the Business Department of the Faculty Vural said “We celebrate here and today our graduation being aware of humanitarian and social responsibilities and ethical values. We thank our lecturers who made sure that we had been raised as self-confident, searcher, learner, leader and entrepreneur individuals. As young graduates, we will continue to work non-stop and without quailing.”

Dean Prof. Dr. Doğan said “We are here today to be a party to the proud and happiness of our graduates. We will hug them for the last time as students and bid them farewell as colleagues. I would also like to congratulate the families who raised and supported our graduates devotedly. I would like to remind our students about one last thing. Ours is an age of informatics. Information is changing and escalating rapidly. Thus, you have to follow these information changes closely. You have to renew yourselves by continuously reading. Any success you achieve in your professional life will exalt OMU and make us happy."

In his speech aimed at students, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gümüş stated “In today’s graduation ceremony we feel joyful over having raised employees who embrace national and universal values, are aware of the humanitarian and social responsibilities, are open to social developments, can think independently and are self-confident. I congratulate you most sincerely and bid you farewell with the hope that you become productive individuals who, while taking office in public institutions or the private sector, use resources actively, respect social values, can adapt to the ever changing conditions and who contribute to our country’s progress by producing new projects.”

Top ranking student of the Faculty Gökşin Vural nailed a star on the honor file and received his plaque and success certificates from the hands of Dean Prof. Dr. Doğan.

The second ranking student of the Faculty Ahsen Ebru Karadayı, from the Political Science and Public Administration Department, received her plaque and success certificate from Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Gümüş, and the third ranking student İrem Nur Demirer, from the Business Department, from the hands of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Mutlu.

Afterwards the top ranking students of the departments of the Faculty Gökşin Vural from the Business department, Ömer Dinç from the Economics department and Ahsen Ebru Karadayı from the Political Science and Public Administration department received their plaques from the hands of lecturers.

Finally all graduates received their success certificates one by one and crowned their happiness with the cap throwing ceremony.
