2016 Graduation Ceremonies of Ondokuz Mayıs University started on June 2, 2016. The first day’s celebration was held at Çarşamba Vocational School of Justice at 10:30; and at Çarşamba Chamber of Commerce Vocational School at 11:30.
This year 750 students have graduated from Çarşamba Chamber of Commerce Vocational School. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Gümüş, Mayor of Çarşamba Hüseyin Dündar, Faculty of Communication Dean Prof. Dr. Nurdan Öncel Taşkıran, Director of the Vocational School Assist. Prof. Dr. Ömer Çakın, Assistant Director of the Vocational School Assist. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Yurtsever, General Secretary of Çarşamba Chamber of Commerce Eftal Yetimoğlu, Chamber of Commerce members, faculty members, students, and their families attended the 13th graduation ceremony. The ceremony was held at the Mustafa Dağıstanlı Sports Hall.
The ceremony began with the speech of the Director of the Vocational School Assist. Prof. Dr. Ömer Çakın. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Gümüş and Mayor of Çarşamba Hüseyin Dündar also made their speeches and wished success to the newly graduated students.
Following the speeches, top performing students Oğuzcan Bayyurt, Özcan Şanlı, and Murat Bilgeç who were ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively, received their gifts and achievement certificates. The gifts of the top ranking students at the department level, and the achievement certificates of all the graduates were individually awarded.
The students enjoyed their graduation to the full, and threw their caps into the air at the end of the ceremony
This year 45 students have graduated from Vocational School of Justice at the schools 5th Graduation Ceremony. Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Gümüş, Mayor of Çarşamba Hüseyin Dündar, faculty members, students, and their families attended the ceremony held at Faculty of Law Conference Hall.
“I congratulate all the families. We are proud and joyful. You are all welcome” said the Director of the Vocational School of Justice Assist. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Yurtsever in his opening speech. “Dear parents, I congratulate you for the great efforts you made. Dear students, I most sincerely congratulate you and wish you all a happy and peaceful life” said the next speaker Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Gümüş.
The final speaker was the Mayor of Çarşamba Hüseyin Dündar, and he said “I wish you success in your important and sacred missions. I congratulate the families” in his speech.
Following the speeches, top performing students Tuğçe Nesibe Menteş, Özgür Mercimekçi, and Neslihan Demir who were ranked 1st, 2nd, and 3rd respectively, received their gifts and achievement certificates.
The students enjoyed their graduation to the full, and threw their caps into the air at the end of the ceremony.
