Faculty members celebrating their 30 years of art at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Fine Arts’ Department of Painting have opened a group exhibition.

A group exhibition, consisting of the works of OMU Faculty of Education’s Art Education Programme graduates Prof. Dr. Metin Eker, Prof. Dr. Gülten İmamoğlu, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Sevinç Yanbeyi Beşer who have been actively participating in academic art works for the past 30 years, has been opened.

OMU faculty members, many art-lovers, and students have attended the opening of the exhibition at the Faculty of Fine Arts Gallery. The exhibition consists of 20 paintings.

Prof. Dr. Metin Eker has made an opening speech and told that they have opened many national and international exhibitions to this day; however the most important feature of this exhibition was that it was opened by faculty members who had graduated from the Osman Güngör studio and carried out academic works at the same place.

The exhibition will remain open until May 30^th.
