A series of events were organized by the Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Department of Midwifery to celebrate the International Day of the Midwife; and a booth was opened in front of OMU Student Life Center under the guidance of Department Head Assist. Prof. Dr. Birsen Altay and Research Assistant Emine Koç. The booth attracted great attention; and the students were especially interested in the educational leaflets.

 
Final year students of Midwifery Department provided a brief education on various topics such as Healthy Life, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Breast Cancer, Harms of Smoking, etc.; and distributed leaflets. Moreover, students from the Faculty of Engineering made the event even more entertaining by playing guitars.
