The second-year students of the Department of English Language Teaching at the Faculty of Education conducted a two-day activity on 24-25 December 2018 under the leadership of Professor Doctor Nalan Kızıltan as part of their Linguistics-I course.

Linguistics activity consisted of humorous sketches designed for English Preparatory Class students to enhance their listening and speaking skills which are among their basic English skills. The organizators of the activity demonstrated how English speech sounds were pronounced and how they could be taught.

The event also taught the students how to learn a foreign language by having fun while teaching English learners how to overcome their natural pronunciation problems.

In addition, the students of the Department of English Language Teaching learned by practicing how to overcome the professional problems they may face in the future.
