The "Stop-Motion Workshop", organized by Sine-Düş (Cine-Dream) Club in the Faculty of Communication, ended.

In the workshop which lasted three weeks, training programs on scenario, animation, sound and picture editing were offered by the academicians.

Scenario training was given by Res. Asst. Uğur Kılınç in the first week of the workshop. Res. Asst. Kılınç made the participants work on the development of their imagination, and he gave information about the technical structure of scenarios. In the second part of the training, Kılınç asked the participants to write the script of the movies that they would like to shoot within the scope of the workshop.

In the second week of the workshop, Asst. Prof. Filiz Erdoğan Tuğran gave training on animation, and she said that that the most important part of Stop-Motion was the character, that the character could be composed of any object we see around us, and that the participants would be completely free in choosing their characters. Participants took photographs from Stop-Motion films, and the training was quite entertaining.

In the last week of the workshop, Res. Asst. Ufuk İnal and Res. Asst. Berat Demir gave training on sound and picture editing to the participants. Inal and Demirci pointed out the importance of the sounds and they explained how the pictures could be transformed into a film. Then they helped the participants to prepare their films.

Arda Ersel, Head of Sine-Düş Club, shared his views on Stop-Motion Workshop, and he said, "It is a very different and useful workshop for us. Our professors also worked hard for the workshop. I hope we deserved their efforts."

Ersel stated that they would continue to carry out such useful activities. He also remarked: "We are planning to grow up as a club. I hope that such different activities will be organized more frequently on campus".
