A seminar and workshop entitled “Interior Architecture and Product Design through Interdisciplinary Perspective” was held at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Faculty of Architecture.

Students and academicians of Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of Fine Arts showed great interest in the event conducted at the OMU Stage by young and talented designers Selen Baskan Collange and Benjamin Collange.

Selen and Benjamin Collange presented examples from their designs they created in Selben Studio (Istanbul), which was founded in 2012 as a common place where the competences and cultures are fusing to reach a wider application field and a broader vision in order to answer the global and local market expectations of the world citizens, and expressed that the most important factor in their designs is to fictionalize a “story” that will appeal to the consumer. Selen and Benjamin Collange also laid emphasis on how they attach importance to environmental protection consciousness in the projects they and other international designers have carried out which range from interior architecture to graphic design.

At the end of the seminar, the designers answered questions of the audience and received an Ondokuz Mayıs University Sapling Certificate and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Dean of Faculty of Architecture Prof. Derya Oktay.
