Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Faculty of Fine Arts was one of the promotion guests of Artankara Modern Art Fair, which was held on Wednesday, March 15 for the third time.

The departments, facilities, equipment and the Campus of Fine Arts of OMU were introduced by means of photographs, booklets and videos to the art-lovers and the young planning to receive artistic education.

On Saturday, March 18, a group of 50 students from the Faculty of Fine Arts of OMU visited the fair together with Prof. Metin Eker, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, Prof. Memduh Erkin, Head of the Department of Industrial Design, and Asst. Prof. Erkan Likos, and they met the guests at the stand.

Prof. Metin Eker, Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, stated that numerous artists participated in the 3rd Artankara Modern Art Fair with their masterpieces, and he emphasized the advantages of such activities for students. Prof. Eker also added that they would be glad to take part in the fair in following years, which was a significant national advantage for the recognition of the faculty.
